Mayrig means “little mother” in Armenian.

Mayrig is the first Armenian restaurant in Lebanon and even in the world. It is a tribute to all Armenian mothers who guard over our rich culinary heritage.

Mayrig offers the warmth and welcoming experience of a grandmother’s house.

Our recipes are prepared with love offering a generous variety of traditional Armenian dishes characterized by silk road spices, fresh and seasonal ingredients.

Mediterranean, healthy olive oil dishes with contrasts of flavors, temperatures, textures and colors are what make the table of Mayrig so homely and traditional.

Our flagships over the years

  • Mayrig Beirut

    2003: Mayrig, the first authentic Armenian restaurant in the World was founded in Gemmayzeh, Beirut

  • Mayrig Maldives

    2017: We put Armenian Cuisine on the map of the Maldives, incorporating items from our menu into the Four Seasons’

  • Mayrig Yerevan

    2018: We went back to our roots and opened in Yerevan, bringing some of the Mediterranean Armenian culinary heritage to Armenia

  • Mayrig Riyadh Hilton

    2022: We opened our branch in Riyadh with the prestigious Hilton IHG chain in Granada

  • Mayrig Cairo

    2022: We opened in Cairo in summer of 2022, expanding to a new continent and experiencing new horizons
